Tell us about your Family/Pets
I have two boys and 8 grandchildren (3 boys and 5 girls).
What are your hobbies?
I love spending time with my children and grandchildren. I enjoy baking and cooking, usually making too much so I send it home with my kids. I make a lot of my mom's recipes from when I was growing up, but I like to try new recipes also. My mom taught me to bake and decorate cakes. I have made several wedding cakes and have even traveled to Iowa with one.
Share a fun fact:
I am a closet ninja—I have a Blue belt in Kuk Sool Won.
What is one goal you hope to accomplish this year?
Figure out when I am going to retire.
Tell us about your community involvement outside of Knox.
I am pretty busy with my grandchildren here in town so not a lot of time for much else. With three of my grandchildren here in town I get to go to baseball games and school functions.
What is your favorite Knox College Memory?
When I won the Janet Hunter Award—I believe I was the 2nd one to win, they just started that award the year before I received it.
