Class of 2021
Thursday 9th December
Dear Parents & Caregivers of the Class of 2021
For many of you, the culmination of this year signifies the end of a long partnership with Pakuranga College. In many cases, the whole family has grown up through the school and we really enjoy receiving the letters and emails of thanks that mark the end of our journey together.
Along the way, we find that genuine friendships and bonds are formed between staff, students and families. To support these relationships, we have launched a new online alumni community to help students to stay in touch with the College and each other. CLICK HERE for more information.
To enable families to continue to support the College, we have also established the Pakuranga College Foundation Trust. The proceeds of this charitable fund will support the continued development of our sports and arts programmes, as well as providing an ongoing fund for scholarships and student hardship.
As you know, we are committed to providing the best possible opportunities for our students. An example of this is the new gymnasium, which was fully funded by the College. Our next major project is to build a performing arts centre. This is still in the early stages, but we are fully committed to making it happen.
Anyone wishing to make a donation is able to select which area of school life they would like to support. All donations are acknowledged on either our digital donor wall, or on one of the new supporters' walls that will be erected around the School in 2022.
Once again, I'd like to thank you for your support along your child's journey through Pakuranga College. They are the reason we do what we do, and we look forward to seeing where life takes them in the future.
Ngā mihi nui
