Our Community Rocks!

Big picture
Pickford Public Schools took delivery of three new buses this afternoon! This was made possible by our Panther Community with the passing of the millage last November, in which you voted “yes” to two new buses! The District set aside funds over the last two years to purchase the third bus. We have not purchased a new bus since September 2014. Your generosity in making sure our students get to and from school safely is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Help us Welcome Ms. Johnstone to our Elementary Team!

Christina Johnstone is a teacher of ten years, teaching through grade eight in diverse communities including a residential treatment facility for students in foster care. She received her bachelor’s degree from Saginaw Valley State University where she played collegiate basketball. Her master's degree from Grand Valley State University in School Counseling will be finished by the end of this year. She’s very excited to join the Pickford team and live in the area as she’s enjoyed the area since childhood. She will be assisting the upper elementary students by doing both academic and behavioral intervention work with them.
