Walden ELO Session One

September 8th - October 30th

Walden Extended Learning Opportunities

Walden's Extended Learning Opportunities Program provides after school extended learning opportunities for the Walden students. The program will begin its first of four sessions on September 8th, 2015! Students are able to sign up for a variety of new offerings this fall, including Archery Club, Cooking Classes, LEGO Physics, Fitness Club, Art Lessons and more!

Hours and Schedule

The ELO Program runs in four, eight week sessions. Each session will include new and prior activities, in which students will sign up for. The program runs in accordance with the school calendar, running Mon-Fri from 3:00-5:30 pm. The program will run on scheduled school half days, from dismissal to 5:30 p.m. The program will not run on weather related school closings or non-scheduled early dismissals. All students are provided with a daily snack, activity/outdoor time and homework support.

In order to provide safe, high quality classes for your children, we do as that your child follows the weekly schedule that you sign up for. If your child will not be attending ELO on any given day, will be picked up early, or be picked up by someone other than a parent/guardian, we do ask that you send in a note, or leave a message with the administrative assistant. Thank you!

ELO Enrollment and Contribution

To enroll, please fill out and return the attached session schedule and agreement form. Additionally, all students are required to fill out an ELO emergency contact and health form before attending (attached). The suggested contribution is $2/student/day. Please do not let an inability to contribute the suggested amount keep you from enrolling your child! We encourage all students to participate!!
