Vascular plants

Contain xylem (water goes up) and phloem (water and nutrients go up and down)

Sporophyte

Has spores and are haploids

Non-native and they take over the environment they are in.


Examples: Bamboo Grass, Kudzu

Fungi

Has a cell wall (chitin) and they are heterotrophs and decomposers. Most fungi are white thread and mushrooms reproduce with their gills.

Gymnosperm/Conifer

These are evergreens and reproduce with pine cones

Non-Vascular Plants

These are small and use capillary action (water climbing)


Examples: Mosses, Corn/Liver Warts

Flowering plants (stamin-pollen and pistol)
