T-BIRDS SOAR Better Together!
Free/Reduced Meal Application
This is a friendly reminder to complete a Free/Reduced Meal Benefits application if you have not done so already for this school year. Although meals are free to all students this year, there are so many more benefits available to families that qualify (see the urgent notice below as an example). In addition, our school district also receives state and federal funding to help serve our students that qualify.
21/22 Lunch Application Packet - Link - Please email me if you would like a form printed and sent home for you to complete.
As always, we are here to help your family in any way we can. Please contact me at email@example.com or at school 366-5899 if I can assist in any way.
Stay safe and well!
URGENT: $$$ may be in your mailbox
URGENT: If your family qualified for free/reduced meals for last school year, you will be receiving a Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) in the mail. This is funded by a federal grant and administered by the Department of Human Services (DHS).
- Every eligible child will be mailed a 2020-21 P-EBT card. Families with multiple children will receive a card for each eligible child in their household. P-EBT benefits for 2020-21 will begin arriving in mailboxes in mid-September 2021 and may arrive in a plain-looking envelope. The mail-out process will take some time. Please allow several weeks to receive your child’s card. It will take up to 10 business days for all benefits to be fully loaded onto the cards.
