Flag Gatherings are In-Person Again

Our Flag Gatherings will be in-person again, starting Friday, April 29th. If your child is getting a character award, you will receive a notification from the teacher. Parents of children who are getting an award are invited to join us on the blacktop to watch the Flag Gathering. Please leave gifts and balloons at home.

Will Parkview Host an Open House?

Parkview and other Hueneme School District Schools will not be hosting traditional Open Houses this year. Instead, this year, Parkview will host a Parkview Family Picnic night on May 26th from 5:00 to 7:00. Parents and families will be invited to bring a picnic to school in the evening and enjoy music and playtime with their children. Some student artwork and schoolwork will be on display in classroom windows. We will have a food truck called Game On.

Traffic Reminders

We would like to remind all of you how important it is for all of us to drive slowly and safely around the school. It is crucial for all of us to follow all traffic and parking laws.

Consider how dangerous it is to allow your student to exit or enter your car while you are still in the lane of traffic. If your car were to be hit at the time the child is entering or exiting your car, the results could be tragic.

Please plan ahead to arrive early and park a little farther away if needed so there is time to park and walk using sidewalks and crosswalks.
