The students will continue working in the Chemistry Unit this week. The focus will be on chemical bonding, physical and chemical changes, and the law of conservation of matter with equations. The Introduction to Chemistry Test will include atoms, periodic table, elements, compounds, mixtures, properties, density and chemical bonding. Please encourage your child to complete assignments on time. Students grades will come from teacher assignments, USA Test Prep Labs, Study Island, and test this week.
We will be MAP testing on Monday. Please be sure your child is well rested and on time.
Math - Mr. Smith
ELA & Social Studies - Mrs. Owensby
Students will have a stems test on list 5. They will continue to read and discuss The Hidden Children in their book clubs. We will have a No Red Ink assignment.
7th Grade SS
Students will study how the Industrial Revolution led to imperialism. They will do research and create projects to share in class.

Our students are very excited about their upcoming performance. Thanks for your support throughout the semester! We will have two assessments next week based on the flashcards the students have made. Assessments are on Tuesday, December 5 and Thursday, December 7. Here are the reminders about our concert:
- Tuesday, December 5- 5:30 PM call time for students, 6:00 PM performance.
- Admission is $5.
- Students wear black dress pants and a solid, bright-colored dress shirt.
