Air traffic controllers are people trained to maintain the safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic in the global air traffic controlsystem.

Educational Requirements: must be U.S. citizens; complete an air traffic management degree from a Federal Aviation Administration certified school; earn a qualifying score on an FAA pre-employment test; and complete training at the FAA academy.
