School is in full swing and as our students settle in to the school routine we want to make sure that our parents are fully equipped to help their students have a leg up academically! Volunteer Orientation👋
Volunteer Orientation
Pelham City School Volunteer Orientation will be held September 1, 2023 at 8 a.m., in the Parent Involvement Resource Center, located to the right of the PES main entrance. Our volunteer program is about to get underway and we are looking for caring, available, motivated adults that want to encourage and impact the next generation.
Volunteer opportunities range from reading to children, helping in the PIRC, assisting in club times and mentoring. If this is something you are interested in being a part of please join us for the orientation! You will need to bring a current photo I.D. and complete the PCS Volunteer Application. If you have any questions or can not meet at the scheduled orientation time please contact Cindy Smith @ 229-221-2336 or 229-294-8170 ext. 214.

PES Grandparents Night
September 12, 2023, 6:00 p.m., in the PES Cafe.
Welcome All Grandparents to PES Grandparents Night! Bring your student/grandchild to a special evening event celebrating the wonderful impact that Grandparents make on our lives! Students will share reflections on grandparents and special presentations. We will also share ways grandparents can be a part of student learning, and kick off the Reading Buddies Challenge for this year!

Donuts with the Dude
You are invited to come to “Donuts with the Dude” on September 28, for "Dudes" of K-2nd grades and September 29 for 3rd-5th grades.
Our dudes and students will enjoy an inspirational message and share a treat with their student. We will also give away 2 FREE football tickets for a PHS home game!

First Friday $ Dress Down
The first Friday of every month PES students will be allowed to dress down for $1 which PTO will take up to go toward our end of the year festivities!
