Weekly Update
Week of February 13, 2023
JAMS Families/Familias de JAMS,
If we want our children to be kind and empathetic, we can’t cross our fingers and hope it happens. We have to be intentional about it by speaking to them, expecting it, and modeling the behavior. We also have to set our children up for success by giving them ideas for simple acts of kindness such as speaking kind words, cheering someone up, including others, or paying someone a compliment. I hope you will take the opportunity to talk about kindness with your child not just around Valentine’s Day but every day.
