10th grade students must bring their school issued laptop for testing on Thursday.

This coming Monday, all Sophomore's are to report directly to the Auditorium for a presentation during your Mustang Time.

Staff and Students

Have extra change in your pockets? What about in your car? Bring it with you to class this week! The school will be hosting miracle minutes throughout the week to support the United Way. Grab your change and get ready. Once the music starts each class will have one minute to collect as much change as possible and bring it down to the office. The class that raises the most money (averaged per student) will win a prize! These events will take place during 3rd, 4th, or 6th hour Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. (Just one event per day).Good luck!

Did you go to homecoming and do you want to be featured in the yearbook? The Yearbook Staff is taking homecoming photos to potentially be in the yearbook. If you would like to submit a homecoming photo, email journalism teacher Sarah Crotzer at sacrotzer@mpsomaha.org. Make sure to include the names and grades of everyone in the photo! Yearbook needs them by Wednesday, October 28.

The Little Mermaid

The MNHS Drama and Music Departments present the 2021 Fall musical "The Little Mermaid." Show times and dates are: Thurs. Oct. 28th at 7pm;

Friday, Oct. 29th at 7pm; Sat. Oct. 30th at 7pm; and Sun. Oct. 31st at 2pm. Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for students. All tickets will be sold online at www.showtix4u.com. Search "Millard North High School." No tickets will be sold at the door. Come check out this amazing show that includes beautiful set pieces, gorgeous costumes and songs such as "Under the Sea" and "Part of Your World.

Millard Career Academies Parent Meeting

Interact club

Interact Club is hosting a guest speaker from Afghanistan. Everyone is invited to come to the Lecture Halls this Wednesday, October 27 from 3:30-4:30 to hear Feroz Mohmand's personal story of relocating from Afghanistan to the United States. He and his wife were both members of the government there, and he has important insights into Afghanistan's current situation that he plans to share with us.

Calling all Juniors!

Starting November 22nd, all juniors at Millard North will have the opportunity to apply for an internship through the Intern Omaha Program. The program has paid internships available with more than 90 unique employers, including careers fields such as Automotive, Trades/Manufacturing, Technology, Healthcare, Business, and Nonprofit management. If you are interested in applying for Intern Omaha, there will be an Intern Omaha Expo on November 18th at the Scott Conference Center. The Expo is a Career Fair where students can meet and network with potential employers for internships. Stop by the counseling office today to sign up.

It can be found in the same place, on the first page of our district website. You may also click here to reach it directly. Along with safety and response protocols, the page also tracks the virus within our district. It shows current active cases of COVID-19, plus the number of active cases per building. The information is updated each weekday morning.
