Welcome Back!
2022-2023 School Year
A Message from the Principal & Assistant Principal
It is our pleasure to welcome everyone back to CES this fall. All signs point to another incredible and productive school year. Our skilled and devoted staff are planning and preparing for your child(ren).
Our school hours are 8:05am to 2:20pm. These hours are for all students K-4th grade. Our UPK student hours are 8:05am to 2:00pm. Please visit our district website https://www.corinthcsd.org/ for important information regarding our academic and social emotional curriculum, as well as school supply lists.
We are honored to serve as the Principal and Assistant Principal of CES. It is a privilege to be part of a community where parents, faculty, staff, and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support both academic and social emotional growth.
Sincerely,
Renee Young & Ashley Connor

Immunizations & Physicals
Physicals are required for the students entering UPK, K, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11th grades.
Reporting Attendances
Please notify the attendance clerk of the reason and expected length of absence. Our voicemail will record messages before or after school hours. A written note is required immediately upon the student’s return explaining the reason for the absence. When a child is absent for a long period of time (2 weeks or longer) due to illness, he/she may qualify for tutoring. A doctor’s note stating the diagnosed illness and the length of confinement at home must be submitted to the principal, along with a written parental request for tutoring.
Student Drop Off and Pick Up Routines
Students being dropped off by vehicle should plan to start lining up in their cars at 8:00am so we are able to keep the line of cars on school property. Students should remain in their cars and not exit cars until told to do so by a staff member. This process will begin at 8:05am. We strongly encourage all qualifying students to use district transportation.
At the end of the day, parents picking up students by vehicle should park in the lot closest to the track and wait for your child(ren) on the sidewalk. Students will not be allowed to walk into the parking lot unattended. Kindergarten through fourth grade students being picked up by vehicle will be dismissed at 2:20pm.
UPK students will be dismissed at 2:00pm.
Walkers will exit the building at 2:24pm.

This funding ended in June 2022 and we can no longer serve free meals to every student during the 2022-2023 school year. To determine eligibility, families should fill out the Free And Reduced Price Meal Application linked below

Health Care Clinic
We are proud to introduce a new Health Care Clinic! A Nurse Practitioner or a Physician’s Assistant from Saratoga Hospital will be available to provide additional health care for our students. This professional can work in conjunction with your child’s primary physician to provide urgent care, medication, physicals, referrals, and much more. Our goal is to better accommodate our families’ medical needs right in our district.
