CBA Elementary Lion Link 🐾
Your link between home and school
Hello CBA Families,
One of the things families love most about CBA Elementary is our strong sense of community. This past week, our community came together in so many amazing ways and it gave me such a great sense of pride to be your Head of School.
This week we saw a 5th grade student create the artwork for a t-shirt worn by our entire student body, facutly and staff. The t-shirt was made by a 2nd grade parent. Now, if that isn't community, I don't know what is!
Our Girl Scout troop had the opportunity to sell cookies during car line this week. The students were so incredibly excited to get out there and interact with all of you and it was simply adorable. We thank you for your tremendous support. Another great example of our community coming together.
First grade students created blankets for Project Linus and shared them with our school on Friday morning at PRIDE Time. They were so proud to show off their hard work and can't wait to give them to children in need. Community service at its finest!
The West Chester University women's gymnastics team visited our 4th and 5th grade students this week. They had some amazing conversations about digital citizenship, your classroom as a team and the golden rule. The athletes also visited our younger classrooms to read stories. An amazing community connection created by 4th grade teacher, Ms. Seigel.
Finally, our school community came together on Friday morning for Step-Up Day. Students visited next year's classrooms to learn more about what they have to look forward to. Classroom teachers were so excited to welcome new students into their classrooms and can't wait for next year. Although I'm sure a few tears will be shed when current students move up for good! 😢
We love being a part of this community and thank you for all that you do to support CBA!

🏫 Looking for Yearbook Editors ✍️
CBA PAC is looking for a few parents to help with this year's Lion's Pride (2022-2023 CBA Yearbook). Last year's book turned out awesome and we are excited to get this year's book rolling. It would be great if we had a parent Editor from each grade. If you are interested in helping, please fill out the following Google Form to let us know your interest/availability.
