TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Canberra Gang Show is seeking applications for the role of Technical Director for the 2018 season.

- A brief overview of yourself including what formation or group you are a part of as well as any past involvement with any Gang Show or Showtime
- Any technical experience, skills or qualifications that relate to the role - Examples of why you are the best fit for the role
A follow up interview process may take place once applications have closed, at the discretion of the Branch Commissioner Gang Show.
This position is available to anyone who is a member of scouting or guiding and over the age of 18, and will be for a 1 year appointment. Please see below summary of the role and the general expectations.
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Responsible for the planning, construction, development, manufacture/sourcing and ultimately, delivery of all technical aspects of the Show. Will be called on to advise on feasibility or practicality of some or all creative ideas. Member of the Management Team.
General Expectations
- Sound knowledge of the technical aspects of live theatre and experience or qualifications in this area. - Significant leadership experience and experience managing complex teams
- Experience in budgeting and maintaining clear financial records
- Good communication skills
- Availability for monthly management team meetings, weekly/fortnightly technical team meetings (April-July 2018) and the theatre period (school holidays July 2018)

PERSONNEL MANAGER

This position is available to all appointed leaders of scouting or guiding and will be for a 1 year appointment. Please see below summary of the role and the general expectations.
PERSONNEL MANAGER
Responsible for the overall human resource management of the whole Gang, through the welfare team leader, security team leader, catering team leader and functions coordinator and their respective teams. Responsible for ensuring all personnel teams are set up for their rehearsal and theatre period responsibilities and that they are performed within the requirements set out by the management team. Member of the Management Team.
General Expectations
- Significant leadership experience and experience managing complex teams, including the recruitment and training/mentoring of key personnel. Experience as a leader of adults is desirable
- Good communication and liaison skills
- Sound understanding of the welfare requirements for a scouting/guiding activity of around 200 people
- Availability for monthly management team meetings, rehearsal period (April-July 2018) and the theatre period (school holidays July 2018)
