Water Pollution

What is water pollution?

Water Pollution is any chemical, physical or biological change in the quality of water that has a harmful effect on any living thing that drinks or uses or lives (in) it

Compared to the US

Rudnaya Pristan, Russia

Kabwe, Zambia

Haina, Dominican Republic

These places compared to the USA have water pollution in there water, and ground water. The pollution of there water kills 100s of thousands and sometimes millions of people and kids in a year span. Compared to the US they don't have sewage systems. Also our water is not polluted with things like lead and bodies and other toxic chemicals.

In the Haina, Dominican Republic the biggest problem is lead battery recycling is getting into the water and if we could help them get rid of that problem and maybe help them with a water filter system then we could help save thousands of lives.

Importance of clean water

This is a very important thing. Clean water will actually help people live longer because there aren't any toxic/harmful chemicals or anything else that is in the water harming/killing humans. Another reason why this is important because if you have toxic, chemical eco waste, and e coli in the water it will begin to smell and that can pollute the air and cause air pollution and then you have two major problems to deal with.
