Georgia Student Media Festival Project Submissions Deadline March 20th
Registration and Project Due Dates: Project Registration due (online) 3/20/2024
The Georgia Student Media Festival is the perfect opportunity to repurpose the Tech Fair and EJK projects. The Georgia Student Media Festival celebrates outstanding student produced media projects. Student projects are viewed and scored at an all day session held at Clayton County Schools S. Truett Cathy Professional Learning Center. To learn more about the Georgia Media Festival, click here.
What is the Festival process?
Every year hundreds of students in all grades in Georgia produce media projects and submit them for judging, first in local and then system festivals. Projects scoring 96 or higher advance to the Georgia Student Media Festival.
Projects are judged for their excellence in production, writing, creativity, lighting, and impact. The Georgia Student Media Festival does not pit one entry against another. Rather, it seeks to recognize a high quality of workmanship and thoughtfulness, and doesn’t simply award first, second, and third place.
We not only have print copies of ¿Qué Tal? (Spanish) Scholastic Magazines and Allons-y ! (French) Scholastic Magazines to use in your room and read in the Media Center, but now we have access to at least 20 Copies of ¿Qué Tal? and Allons-y! online! Let’s become Fluent together!
