Parent-Teacher Conferences on February 11th
We have parent teacher conferences on February 11. They will run from 3:20 PM - 6:20 PM and will have the same format (arena style) as in the past. We look forward to seeing everyone.
College Credit Plus Meeting
Strongsville High School (SHS) will have a meeting on February 11th in the SHS Auditorium at 6:00 p.m. This meeting is highly recommended for all students and parents who are interested in participating in this program. College Credit Plus is open to students in grades 7 – 12 who are deemed college-ready.

Nine Strongsville Student-Athletes Accept College Scholarships on National Signing Day
Nine SHS student-athletes committed to colleges on National Signing Day, the first day the NCAA allowed seniors to officially sign college and university scholarship offers. The following student-athletes committed to a college and received scholarships:
- Josh Collins, football — Lake Erie College. Josh led the Strongsville Mustangs in receiving and scoring during the 2015 season.
- Justin Collins, football — Lake Erie College. Justin was a three-year letterman for the Strongsville Mustangs.
- Allie Ehrnfelt, soccer — Akron University. Allie was a two-year varsity letter winner and member of the 2012 regional finalists team.
- Vince Galassi, football — Malone University. Vince was a three-year offensive line starter for the Strongsville Mustangs and a team captain in 2015.
- Tim Hoffman, soccer — Ohio Northern University. Tim was Co-Captain of the 2015 Regional Semi-Final Team and a four-year letter winner.
- Conner Mundy, football — Robert Morris University. Conner was a three-year starter for the Strongsville Mustangs and a team captain in 2015.
- Kyra Starek, soccer — Chicago State. Kyra was a two-year letter winner and recipient of the All-Ohio Academic Award.
- Katie Sidloski, soccer — Indiana State. Katie was the 2016 team captain, an All-Ohio selection, first team All-Greater Cleveland, and first team all GCC.
- Alex Zacharyasz, football — Mercyhurst University. Alex was a three-year starting linebacker for the Strongsville Mustangs and a team captain in 2015.
“We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes at Strongsville High School,” said Andy Jalwan, SHS's Athletic Director. “Their discipline, dedication and achievement is a testament to their future potential and we wish them much success in college and in their future.”
