This year, Get Your Teach On, professional development for teachers, is partnering with the Indiana Department of Education to select eight Indiana schools to receive intensive support throughout the school year through two-day in-school training for teachers and staff! We found out today that WE WERE SELECTED!! ((ASK YOUR CHILD ABOUT THIS!))

These pieces of training will provide quarterly professional development experiences at CCI. This will impact your child's education positively. Students will get to experience their teachers learning exciting new strategies and growing their pedagogy.

Also, teachers learned updates about school safety. Teachers were trained in a protocol called ALICE. Students will learn about this on September 12. This training is to empower our students and keep our campus safe. See the video below for more information.

Just a few reminders for next week:

• Please send in a family photo if you haven't already. We would love every single family represented on Main Street (our main hallway).

• We would like every family to sign up for PTO. PTO provides snacks for celebrations, field trips, and birthday treats.
• We currently have 2 families who have not registered their students. Please click HERE to register your child now.
