Resurrection-St. Paul School
Encounter Christ's Presence - Year of the Eucharist
March 6, 2022
Tomorrow is the beginning of the third and final marking period of the 2021-2022 school year. You will receive the T2 progress reports electronically at the end of this week.
Author Robert Collier said, "Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day-in, and day-out." When we are in the weeds and on the daily grind, sometimes it is hard to see the growth, maturing, and success that is happening each day. Our hope is that the progress report is a visible sign of the sum of small efforts that your children, their teachers, and you put in every day. As you continue to work with your children to find success you can remind them that each day and trimester is a new opportunity to start fresh.
Re-enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year is still open. Do not delay in submitting your re-enrollment items as many classes are at or near capacity. New students are being accepted and students without complete re-enrollment may be placed on a waitlist. Please reach out to Stephanie Finamore if you have any questions. 410-461-9111 ext. 242 or email@example.com
Have a great week!

PantherFest tickets on sale NOW through 3/17/22, Don't miss out!
What is PantherFest? RSPS decided 3 years ago to rebrand its annual Gala into a more relaxed social event...an adults only casual night out where you can meet and socialize with others within the RSPS community. You do not need to dress up, jeans are great. This is not a sit down dinner event with assigned table seating, instead expect heavy appetizer stations, a large selection of beer and wine, DJ, 50/50 game, money wheel games and silent auction. Jason Williams, RSPS Parent and General Manager of Oliver Brewing Co., will have a beer tasting station set up in the lounge area where college basketball fans can watch March Madness games. Last but not least, PantherFest is a fundraising event for our wonderful school! Tickets can be purchased here: https://www.resstpaul.org/news/maryland-my-maryland-gala
One More Thing...If you own a business or know someone who does, please consider donating to our silent auction. All donated items are 100% tax deductible. Thank you in advance for your consideration!
RSPS Spirit Store - Check out the RSPS Spirit Store and show your Panther pride. Items can be customized for individual names, sports, and clubs. These make great gifts during the holiday season and part of the proceeds go back to the HSA. Although these are not part of the uniform, we will have two spirit days in school on 1/21 and 3/7.
IF YOUR CHILD(REN) WILL BE ABSENT FROM SCHOOL - Please either complete the absentee form found on our website or leave a message on our attendance line (410)-461-9111 x 250.
Service Hours - Service Hours can now be logged in using the link found on our website.
Please review our Parent/Student Handbook for more details pertaining to service hour obligations.
Dance Club's spring session will begin March 16th and 17th. Please visit the link for more information and how to register.

This event will feature a silent auction, great food, drinks, music and a beer tasting provided by Jason Williams of Oliver Brewing Co. If you are interested in joining the PantherFest committee, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. An important part of this event is our silent auction. If you know a business willing to contribute please let us know. Tickets to this event will be available for purchase soon. Line up your babysitters now, you will not want to miss this fun night out!
Playground Supervisors - Looking for ways to get involved? Help our faculty and staff during recess time! Playground supervisors work with faculty, staff and administration to ensure that the school's health and safety rules are followed as well as interact with students and encourage appropriate play and student behavior. Please review the available slots below for Grades 2-6 and click on the button to sign up. Volunteers are always welcome for the other grades as well. Thank you! REMINDER - if the feel like temp is below 32 degrees, or if it is raining, recess will be indoors. When recess is indoors, parents are welcome to still volunteer for lunch, but we will not have parents come to the classroom for indoor recess.

Please be extra vigilant and monitor the health of all members of your household. We are seeing students test positive with very minor symptoms such as headache, scratchy throat, and running nose.
Our ability to offer in-person instruction is dependent on your partnership. If a child is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, RSV, or Influenza, they should remain home to avoid exposing the school community to illness. The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our top priority. While COVID-19 vaccinations are not mandated in our schools, we encourage vaccination for all eligible students and staff to reduce the potential for serious illness and hospitalization.
RSPS will continue to provide rapid antigen testing testing to confirm symptomatic cases in school.
