Help us to help them!
Sweet Cakes by Melissa, read their story below
Good afternoon!
This newsletter is to highlight Aaron and Melissa Klein. I wanted to take some time and share with you their story and ask for you to help them, just like you have helped me! As we get closer to the second coming, we are going to see the world get uglier and uglier and because of this we all need to stand together.
In the pictures to the right, you will see the wonderful, beautiful creations by Melissa that my family and I purchased for my daughter graduation just a few weeks back. You can tell that she has a passion for what she does, and she has “when I do a cake, I feel a part of what these people are celebrating”.
Romans 12:10-13
10 Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. 11 Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. 12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. 13 When God's people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.
Thank you for taking the time to help fellow believers in prayer and financially if you feel led.
You may be familiar with the story of Aaron and Melissa Klein, owners of “Sweet Cakes by Melissa” bakery. In 2013 they refused to bake a cake for a same sex wedding due to their religious beliefs and because of that decision they were sued, ordered to pay $135,000, and lost their business. Here we are nine years later, and they are still battling this in court and will be headed to the US Supreme court in October of 2022.
About two years ago Melissa and her family moved to Ronan, MT. Since then, God has put it on Melissa's heart to open another bakery. When we heard that Melissa and her family had moved to Montana, my wife reached out to her for our daughter's graduation cake and cupcakes. I would highly recommend giving her a call if you’re in need of bakery items. Melissa is currently working out of their home.
Earlier this week my wife shared a fundraiser being held by Melissa. Today while I was reading about their story, I felt led to send out this email. I am asking that all believers, churches, and church staff be in prayer for Melissa and her family. I am also asking that we could come together UNITED in Christ to help Melissa with the funds needed to be able to open her bakery in Ronan. See how you can support them below!
You can read about their case here Sweet Cakes by Melissa Case

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for being willing to stand up for the word of God and supporting the Klein's during this time. MOST IMPORTANLTY though, I ask you as believers to please continue to PRAY. Through all this the very most important thing is prayer.
Blessings,
