Central Wishes our Panther Valentines a Very Special Week!
Valentine's Day Reminder: NO DELIVERY POLICY
With Valentines Day just around the corner, we would like to remind our families that we have a NO DELIVERY POLICY at school.
While we understand that families and friends get excited to show their students a little extra love on this special day, we ask that you allow this celebration to occur outside of the school day. We have made this decision due to the drastic increase of deliveries that can be overwhelming, the lack of space to store and the lack of personnel to deliver. These deliveries not only disrupt the function of our front offices, but also the academic day of our students. They can also cause potential safety hazards on our school buses and are thus not allowed on buses.
In an effort to share a little something special with students, their friends, teachers, and families, we have Valentine Grams on sale each morning in the cafeteria during breakfast till 8:30 am. All orders must be placed by Thursday morning. If you wish to purchase them for your child, their is a flyer below and directions and information on ClassDojo as well.
If you have questions, please don't hesitate to contact the office at 462-5077.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping our school a safe learning environment for our students.
IMPORTANT DROP-OFF & PICK-UP INFORMATION
This information can also be found in our student handbook and Aug./Sept. Newsletters
Arrival-Student Drop-off
*Refer to Student Handbook
Dismissal- Student Pick-up
Students are dismissed at 2:50 p.m. Parents picking up their children will line up on the North side (6th Street) until students are released to their vehicles. It is very important that each car in line pulls forward as far as possible so that the greatest number of cars can be loaded at one time. Do not attempt to pass in the loading area unless directed to do so by duty staff. Students will be released to parents, in vehicles, only in the parent pick up line. Please note: The line moves quickly, but if you would like to wait until 3 p.m. the line is much faster with little wait time. When the line clears, students are brought up to the front office to await pick-up.
