IMPORTANT INFO:
SMART goals - Do the students know the goal for your essential standard? Make sure to post your goal with your essential standard in your room, so students know the focus. I think most of you for Unit 1 had an 80% goal.
SIT doc updating - for any students in grades 2 and 3 - needs to be completed by end of day on Friday. All staff working with these students on reading interventions will input a comment. For example, the PROWL teacher will comment, the interventionist will comment, and the literacy teacher will comment. Let me know if there are questions about this. If I am the PROWL teacher and their literacy teacher, I will have two comments (One about PROWL and one about classroom performance). PROWL comments need to include information from the Kilpatrick one minute drills. Example of a detailed comment: Sam worked on identifying lowercase letters with the alphabet arch. He can identify the letters in his name but still needs to focus on all other letters. or I worked with Izzy on D2 of the one minute drills. She is still not automatic. We will begin using concrete objects this week to help her become more understandable with these phonological skills.
MAP Progress Monitoring will be with grades 2 and 3. They will take their test in the computer lab with Mrs. Cardin during their keyboarding time.
3-5 DIBELS Progress Monitoring this week.
Please fill out the fall festival doc. We need all of your help! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SlBXzDkz9SlP3kzsv0CaLR881cOKvwj2mTVawVzCwZQ/edit#gid=0
Qballs - Make sure your Qball is working and you are using it with students! I have only seen it in use in a few rooms. If you are having connection issues, put in an IT ticket.
PROWL dismissal (7:45 for intervention groups, 7:47 for enrichment groups, 8:17 for enrichment groups, 8:20 for intervention groups) Students will stand in the hallway outside the door until 7:50. Teachers make sure you are outside your door greeting students coming into PROWL at 7:50 and leaving PROWL at 8:20. We need all eyes for supervision.
