WCASD Technology Support at Home

The WCASD created a Technology Support site. It is a great one-stop technology trouble shooting page.

Jump for Heart Prizes (from last year) are in and ready for pick up!

On Tuesday, 9/29 from 11am -12 pm and again from 3-4, we will distribute Jump for Heart prizes from last year. Please stay in your car and line up starting at the stop sign just beyond the gym. We anticipate a long line but it should move very quick as each volunteer will have their own spread sheet. We will only need your last name and if you have more than one child who earned prizes. Prizes above $75 will come prepackaged but we will need to reference your t shirt size (t shirt is earned at $50.00). We cannot change sizes from what was indicated. Other arrangements can be made by contacting Mr. Usilton at Thanks so much for your support. We smashed an all time record with $13,051 raised!

Parents help needed with Jump Rope for Heart Prize distribution for Tuesday, 9/29 10:45AM-12:00PM and 2:45PM-4:00PM. If you can help, please email me at or text me at 484-682-5127. Thank you in advance. Once again, please wear a mask and please do not bring kids with you. I need 5 helpers for each time(please note if you can stay the full-time or part-time in the time slot).

Here is the signup genius:

If your child earned prizes for Jump Rope for Heart in Feb 2020 based on donations, please come pick up their prizes from 11 AM-12 Noon and 3-4PM Tues 9/29 during lunch/recess. Just drive to the Gym Doors, give your child's name, and everything will be outside for us to grab for you. NO NEED TO GET OUT OF THE CAR. We will come to you.

FHE Homeroom Parent

We need volunteers to help with your child's "remote" classroom. Duties include: organizing teacher gifts/appreciation and work closely with teacher for any parties/event/support.

Currently, we have 0 volunteers for these classes: Stang, Kubovsak, Wilson, Tull, Cullen, and Stout.

We have one volunteer, but could use another one for these classes: Trembath, Parise, Mize, and Boris.

Thank you for considering to volunteer as a homeroom parent this year! We appreciate it! If interested, please click on the button above to sign up.

Reminders from the PTO

We do not plan to do a large Fundraising campaign unless we go back to the building and our budget needs to increase but we will concentrate on smaller FUN-raisers to engage our FHE Community including Cyber and Remote 2.0 BOBCATS. We are planning to use money raised last year and this year for the following:

1) FHE BOBCAT SIGNAGE above the Stage!!

2) Replace water fountains with Bottle Refill Stations

3) Bathroom Poster artwork-encouraging messages

WCASD Counseling and Mental Health Professionals Service Guide

We recognize that our students at home may feel isolated. Please know that one of our main goals is to help your children feel connected to their teacher, classroom and Fern Hill! Our district has a Counseling and Mental Health Professionals Service Guide to provide supports and resources if your child is having a difficult time through all of this. This guide provides Counselor and Mental Health Professionals' contact information, services, important forms, and additional resources for parents of students Kindergarten through 12th grade.
