Dear Mitchell Families,

Please make an effort to drop your students off on time. School opens at 8:00am, the first bell rings at 8:25 am at 8:30 your student is tardy.

Please pack a change of clothes for your students during rainy days. This will allow students to change out of their wet clothes and avoid calling families.

The Community Liaisons are your connection to resources, volunteer opportunities, and are here to assist families and caregivers in navigating the school district - all to improve student outcomes.

There is no small part in what you can contribute. If you are interested, you may pick up the volunteer application in our main office. Realizing Amazing Potential (RAP) is the Lawndale Elementary School District’s before and after school program. The program expands & enhances classroom instruction for LESD students.

Where formal education ends, the RAP program begins. We create real world learning environments where students have opportunities to explore, engage, and develop significant life skills.

Students in TK - 8th grade can join our morning program from 6:45 AM - 8:30 AM and/or our afternoon program from school dismissal to 6:00 PM. Join today!

Family University is the 3-Tier parent engagement model for the Lawndale Elementary School District. We are committed to creating and supporting partnerships between schools, families, and communities.
