BW Update - January 27, 2023
Message from Superintendent Ana C. Riley
Superintendent Ana C. Riley and the Bristol Warren Regional School District encourage families to complete the Rhode Island Department of Education's annual school culture and climate survey.
The survey, called SurveyWorks, may be taken by parents, students and teachers. It allows participants to share honest feedback about education in the state and experiences in their respective schools. It also serves as an opportunity for families to have a voice in the district improvement process and let school officials know what is being done well and where there are opportunities for growth.
Survey results will provide school districts with valuable information to look at issues from the perspectives of students, teachers, and families, which will aid improvement planning, including developing School Improvement Plans, District Strategic Plans, and measuring progress over time. Data also provides an overall picture of how schools and districts are performing.
The survey will remain open until March 31. Parents may take the survey here by selecting their child's school from the dropdown menu. Teachers will be given individual codes to take the survey. Teachers will walk students through the survey in class.
"I encourage our families to participate in this annual survey," said Superintendent Riley. "This survey provides the district with information that can help us improve our schools and continue to provide high-quality, rigorous learning experiences for students of all ages. We thank you in advance for your thoughtful responses and for joining this initiative."
