Happy Friday!

We completed our MAP/EOC testing this week and want to thank you all for your help in making sure you students were here on time, with a fully charged Chromebook! It made things run much smoother!

We only have two more weeks of school before summer break and next week will be a busy one!

Tuesday morning representatives from the district and our construction partners will be here at SMS for a groundbreaking ceremony to kick off the new additions to our building. This summer we will be getting an updated and more secure entrance as well as construction will begin on our new library!

Wednesday, our 8th graders will have their SHS transition day at the high school!

Friday will be an incentive day for our students as well as PTO Donuts sales at lunch!

It will be a fun week!

Next week we will communicate out the exact day of collection, but if you know your 8th grader will not be as school the last week, please have them stop by the office before their last day to turn the Chromebook and charger.

All current 6th and 7th graders will be taking them home over the summer.

All clubs are student created! If you don't see a club that you would be interested in, you can start one! All you need is a teacher/staff member to sponsor it and Principal approval. Check back weekly for updates!
