Every student who reads 800 minutes this summer will receive a participation certificate. Students who read 1000 minutes or more will receive a poster from Scholastic. The student who reads the most minutes in each grade level will receive a $25 gift certificate to our Fall Book Fair.

Thanks Birmingham Education Fund!
This year the Birmingham Education Fund (BEF) has sponsored several projects connected to our library. The BEF awarded a grant to Mrs. Ladd for the Spring Fling Book Bonanza which encouraged our second and third graders to read during the month of April. The BEF also sponsored a visit from Christian Robinson on May 22. Finally, the BEF also awarded funds in cooperation with the West Maple PTA to fund a Google Expedition Kit for our classes to check out for virtual field trips.
Our students are getting an amazing educational experience thank to this support!
