Principal's Message
Dear SFX Family,
Happy March! This month, we will be focusing on the quality of respect. Also with the month of March comes signs of spring. This usually means growth spurts for the children! Please take the time to check pants, shorts, skirt, and jumper lengths. Also, please be reminded that students should only be wearing official SFX uniform outerwear in school.
Congratulations to our 7th Grade students on being accepted to their choice high schools! We are so proud of you!
So Louisiana is moving to Phase 3, what does that mean for us? Phase 3 does mean somewhat loser restrictions; however, I have not yet received updated guidance from the Louisiana Department of Education or the Department of Catholic Education and Faith Formation. As soon as I have all information, I will let you know. Please continue to practice safety measures both in and out of school!
The drive-though Lenten Fish Fry this past Friday was a success! Thank you to all who supported this, and to the KCs for making it happen. We apologize for the traffic jam and selling out! We will definitely be more prepared for Friday, March 12. See you then!
Lastly, I have a few reminders. Tonight we have our virtual Home & School Association Meeting. Please join us if you can. Details are below. This Thursday is a 1:30 PM dismissal day with no after school care. Please remember that students are tardy after 8:00 AM. If the barricades have been closed on the yard, it is 8:00 or after and you must drop-off at the office door. Thank you!
May God bless you and keep you,
Jessica
