Busy Week!

It's been a busy week at the elementary. We've been cleaning up our playground, practicing our leadership skills, and engaged in active learning. What a week! We've earned our weekend!

Faces of Fordland

Alyssa Key, Physical Science, Chemistry, and AP Chemistry

Meet Mrs. Key! Mrs. Key has been a part of our Fordland school family for the past 6 years. She grew up in Fordland and enjoys giving back to the community she was raised in. Mrs. Key loves fajitas and doing anything outside with her family. When she's not teaching Physical Science, Chemistry, or AP Chemistry, you can find her riding her side-by-side and growing her hobby farm.

Q: What is your favorite thing about working at Fordland R-3?

A: "I love working in the same town I grew up in and still live in. I value the relationships I have with Fordland families."

Q: What advice would you give our students?

A: "Failure is not the opposite of success. It is part of success"-unknown. Keep going after what you want, even if the direction and paths are ever changing!"
