I know teaching can be one of the most challenging jobs there is. I also know there are good days and bad days. I wanted to give you some encouraging words for those days where it is harder to see the good.

Elementary Notifications and Upcoming Events
*I have added several forms that you may need throughout the school year to the bottom of this newsletter. Please refer to those if you have a question or need.
*Please make sure you are sending Tadpoles pictures regularly.
*Lunch helpers should be send to the lunchroom 3 minutes prior to your lunch time. 1st-6th grades should send lunch helpers.
*iReady assessments should be conducted this week. Please plan to have them done before our visitors on Thursday, September 13 as Denise will be reviewing the data with you. She will be meeting with Kindergarten at 10:00 am (Monica and Charlie will take the classes), 1st grade at 1:00 pm, 2nd and 3rd grade at 2:00 pm, and 4th, 5th, and 6th grade at 3:00 pm (Matt and Monica will take the classes to recess). Also, please make sure your boards are updated prior to the 13th.
*Tuesday, September 11 is Patriot Day. You are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue. Normal uniforms/dress code apply for students. Teachers may wear jeans with red, white, and blue.
*Thursday, September 13 is CiCi's Pizza Night.
*Friday, September 14 is college day; wear jeans with your favorite team's gear.
*We will also have visitors in the school on Tuesday, September 18. Please make sure your rooms and boards are kept in excellent condition.
*Our Character Pep Rally is Friday, September 21. Please make sure you are working on your trait and skit/song/play/etc with your class.
Preschool, Pre-K and Afterschool
*There are several documents added to the bottom of this newsletter if you need to see them for any reason.
*We will have visitors in the school Thursday, September 13. One person will focus on elementary while the other focuses on preschool. Please make sure your room is ready and your boards are updated.
