MSG Gary Gordon M.O.H. Memorial

Honoring All of the Fallen Heroes of Task Force Ranger

Never Shall I Fail My Comrades.......

The Ranger Creed is much more than just mere words to those who have chosen to join this elite group of warriors, and their willingness to pay any price to aid their Brothers in Arms was exemplified in The Battle of Mogadishu on October 3-4, 1993. Please help us fund this memorial honoring Medal of Honor recipient MSG Gary Gordon, as well as the other 18 members of Task Force Ranger killed in action in the Battle of Mogadishu, by attending one of five motorcycle rides sponsored by five different chapters of the Sons of Mosby Motorcycle Association (a 100% U.S.Army Ranger M/C Assoc.) on May 30, 2020:

Lewiston, Maine

Gettysburg, PA

Columbus, GA

Franklin, IN

Nacogdoches, TX

Company #1 SOMMA Chapter is a N.H. Nonprofit Veterans organization and 100% of the proceeds from these events will be donated to the Special Forces Charitable Trust's fund specifically dedicated to fund this memorial project. In the event there are additional funds from our efforts, they will be utilized to create a scholarship fund dedicated specifically to assist the family members of Task Force Ranger. Approximately 75% of the needed $120,000 in funds needed to complete the 10 foot bronze statue and memorial have been raised over the past several years and Fisher Sculpture has actually just begun the production process with a scheduled unveiling on October 3, 2020 at noon in Gary's hometown of Lincoln, Maine. It is our goal to raise the last 25% needed to keep this event on schedule for the Battle of Mogadishu's anniversary date of October 3rd.
