Paw Props this week went to all those who helped pass out water bottles at freshmen convocation! Thanks everyone!

You Rock Award

The "You Rock" award is a new recognition being brought to the full board. The award was given first from the exec to a selected member to get the "rock" rolling and from now on will be passed from member to member at the beginning of each full board for members to recognize one another for their hard work.


This week's You Rock award went to Justin Mosley for his proactive dedication to the development of our website. YOU ROCK JUSTIN!

Friday Sept 25- Applications due to Kendra by Email by 12 pm noon and sent to Full Board for review by 5 pm

Sunday Sept 27- Elections 2/3 of board MUST be present to vote (Please mark this in your calendars and plan to attend.)

Katrina and the OUAA

Katrina is starting a new SAB Alumni Mentorship Program. Consider participating if you're interested in personal and professional advice from alumni who share many of your own experiences! ATTENTION SENIORS: The OUAA has a block of rooms available at the OU Inn specifically for SAB Seniors and their families for graduation. The rooms are available on a first come first serve basis. Email Katrina (address above) to reserve your spot.

#OHIO6Words contest will be coming up on Instagram, so keep your eyes peeled. You're six word memoir could be featured in Baker during homecoming week!

Melissa and Membership

Email Melissa for Absences at mk283412@ohio.edu, please CC the respective VP in any emails regarding absences to Melissa.


Open House will be held at Konneker Alumni Center September 8 and 9 from 5:30 to 7:30. Please remember attendance at this event is necessary. Absence without a work or class excuse will result in -2 points. Interviews will be held September 15, 16, and 17.

Kate and Communications

We still have 2 black SAB Cardigans size small for sale for $20, if you're interested contact Hannah for payment arrangements, and Kate for your cardigan. They will be available again this coming Sunday. Various sizes of last years Homecoming T-shirts are also available for $10. Please contact Katrina for interest in Homecoming shirts.


MANDATORY Professional Dress Picture Day Extravaganza: Group pictures held at KAC on September 13, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. Dress is Business Professional.

Hannah and Finance

Great news for all you loyal dues payers! If you pay your dues on time you will get an entry into a raffle to have one semester dues free! Dues will officially start being collected this coming Sunday, so lets get the ball rolling!


Financial Tip: Budget weekly to avoid over spending. There are apps that can help such as MINT which can track how much you are spending on certain things and tell you when you've reached your cap for the week.

The event will be help Saturday Sept 26 from 1-3:30 pm. SAB members will take a motor pool vehicle to the event held in Centerville, Ohio. Registration Costs will be covered by the OUAA. $10 of each registration will go towards the Dayton OUAA Chapter's Scholarship Fund. Apply here. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Let's show some bobcat love!

More about our Professional Dress Picture Day head shots will be taken from 1:00 to 4:00 on September 13 at KAC. This is mandatory, so please sign up for a time slot here. For a more polished look we request that you wear the same outfit in your headshot as you plan to wear to the professional dress group picture that will be taken at 4:00.

South Beach Event will take place on South Beach from 4 to 7 on Wednesday Sept 2. (sign up for that is here)


Remember both of these events are MANDATORY please make sure you have either emailed a class or work excuse, or have signed up and attended your shift.


Save the date for YELL LIKE HELL, which is also a mandatory event: Thursday October 8 at 8:30 in the Baker 1st floor parking lot.

Amanda and Philanthropy

CONGRATS to Emily Swanson for being selected as Pack the Pantry project manager and Ally Kheun for being selected as Bobcathon project manager.


Pack the Pantry will take place Monday October 5 through Thursday October 8 in the Baker third floor atrium. Be prepared for lots of tabling.

Emily and Internal Activities

Last Splash will take place tonight starting at 5:00 pm at Tailgate Park!


Sophomore and Junior PM applications due by Sept 11. Each Project Manager will receive a small budget to coordinate events for their class. This is a semesterly commitment. Apply here.

End of Meeting Announcements

Alex Leaman: the CLDC is offering professional development certifications. Sessions are held Tuesdays and Wednesday. Contact Alex or Mak, or reference the professional development resources on the Google Drive linked above.

Carla Stone: Carla will be holding a focus group. Please contact Carla for more information or if you are interested in helping with her study.
