The Crocodilian
Volume 3, Edition 1 September 6 , 2019
Welcome from our Principal, Mr. Pollock
Hello H. E. Corley Family,
We have had an amazing start to this school year. There is so much excitement in the air and our students and faculty have picked up where we left off last year. We had an amazing award winning year last year by receiving Lighthouse Status from our Leader In Me magnet. We are continuing to grow our students by being Leaders and Learners for Life. Our faculty and staff are prepared to provide the most rigorous, exciting, and purposeful lessons. We know that not all learning takes place during school hours and we are so happy that you all are a part of our learning community. I always say that it "Takes a Village" and you certainly are a huge part of the H.E. Corley village.
Through our Leadership and Montessori Magnets, we are able to teach and develop our students holistically. Our goal is to grow our Leaders and teach the philosophy of Montessori for our students in the Montessori magnet. When we work together as students, teachers, parents, guardians, community members, and business partners we will do some amazing things. That's why we say, "Great Happens Here at HEC." I know this is going to be our best year yet and I look forward to seeing the wonderful things we will accomplish. Welcome Back and Stay Classy Crocodiles.
Sincerely,
Jason Pollock, Principal

We want our PTO to have an amazing year. Those that have turned in your forms, we will be in touch with you soon. If you have not filled out a form, please do and see one of our board members on September 12th at Curriculum Night. Volunteers help our school and students be successful.
