The power that leaders have can be taken advantage of, and the citizens can easily be abused.
People may not agree with decisions made by the leader.
Citizens have no control over what goes on in their lives.
Potential to lose individual rights.
Because the dictator has so much power, they have a strong sense of coercion about them- people are more likely to obey.
If the leader is corrupt, this has the potential to be the worst form of government.

Since the leader has control of the military and police, he can easily keep things in line.
Usually creates a stable economy.
If the leader is just, this could eventually be a great form of government.
