Whitkirk Primary School Blog
A weekly blog from the Headteacher
Year 3 Reading Certificate winners
We are beginning to get into the Christmas spirit in school, despite it still being November, due to the Christmas tree having been delivered today! This week saw our final Parent Consultation evening on Wednesday. If, for any reason, you were unable to attend an appointment, please get in touch with your child's class teacher as a matter of urgency to set an appointment time. These are incredibly important opportunities for you, as parents and carers, to find out your child's strengths and next steps. Thanks to everyone who attended these; this week or last week.
Towards the end of next week, we have a few highlights to look forward to. Friday sees Year 5 and Year 2 on education visits and on Thursday we have a visiting theatre company performing Snow White for the children.
Next Thursday 3:30 - 6:00pm is our PTA Christmas Fair. As always, this will be a terrific event for all of the family. There will be plenty of opportunities for family fun and I look forward to seeing you all there!
Have an excellent weekend; I'll see everyone on Monday.

our aim to be a cashless school
This will give yourselves as parents and carers much greater flexibility over how you can transfer money to school.
You can pay by debit or credit card, paypal or paypoint.
When you log into your Parent Mail account, you can add items to be paid for to your basket and, when you checkout, you can choose your payment method. It is vital that you keep your contact details up to date on ParentMail to do this, though.
We appreciate that changes to systems can sometimes be problematic and if you would like any support with this, please let us know.
Thanks to all of those of you who are already paying for items in this way.
