Morgan's Tech Tip of the Week:
Flippity
Thank you for participating in the Flippity game on Early Release. The jeopardy game board is only one of the many templates Flippity has to make learning fun! This tool I found very easy to navigate as the templates come ready to be edited. If you would like to try it in your classroom and need help please don’t hesitate to ask. Also I would love to come join your class in an activity! Below are some links to get you started!

WHS Champion Award- Student Recognition
Once you award a student, please send your student to the office with the certificate filled out. Check the appropriate box, and write the specific event that earned your student this recognition. We will get a picture taken in the office and hand out a medal.
In the office, we will log the Champions on the spreadsheet below. You can use this as a reference to ensure that we do not have any duplications. This log can be found in the WHS Staff Google Drive in the "Champions Student Leader Board" Folder.

WHS Staff Spotlight:
This is Neil Gunsteen's 6th year at WHS! He enjoys playing music, listening to music, watching movies, and bike riding.
Some of Neil's favorites include:
Song- So many......"Staple It Together" Jack Johnson
Food- Mexican! Yum!
Movie-The Matrix is my favorite because the storyline was totally original and the cinematography was so revolutionary.
Neil Gunsteen is inspired by his parents are my heroes because they have been married for 50 years, with 3 kids, so many adventures, and I have learned a lot from them!
Finally, Neil believes, "Students need to be engaged in material that gets them excited, that gets them to ask questions and to think outside the box. ."

The WHS Winter Olympics was a wonderful event and hats off to them for the great planning and set up!
Thank you so much for the amazing day! The amount of work and organization that went into it was was greatly appreciated by all. My students enjoyed it and I especially liked having extended time with my students and getting to know them even better.
Amy Rudd
Amy is always ready to help in anyway she can. Even though she's only here part of time, she will do anything and always has a smile on her face!
Karen Szatalowicz
I asked her help locating a material and approach that would help a student with a weakness. I described his issues - she thought about what I was asking for, disappeared and came back five minutes latter with a perfect curriculum! What a knowledgable professional.
