Inventions
Leonardo Da Vinci had many codices, or a codex. A codex is a book with hand-written content. In Da Vinci's he came up with ideas for inventions that wouldn't be invented for centuries later. He wrote in mirror script (writing only visible in a mirror). It is believed he did this to prevent his work from being stolen.
