Chemistry AB Course Updates
First of all, for our new incoming students, there is up to a 24 hour lag from the time the student orientation course is completed and when due dates actually populate in the course. I have included a screenshot below as to what the first 3 days of assignments look like.
For discussions, you are to respond to 2 of your classmates' posts, not your own. You can answer questions posed to you by other students in your original post, but the idea is to facilitate discussion among the students.
Lastly, we will hold a live learning session tonight at 8 pm and I will answer any individual questions you might have about content, assignments, or even how to navigate the course.
If you were unable to attend the Monday session, I recorded the meeting and posted it under our resources page so you can go watch it at anytime.
Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns you might have. The dust will settle soon and we'll all be in a groove for the rest of the semester.
For example, if your first day with access to the course is today, June 3rd, you would complete the first 4 assignments by midnight, then you could do the lab safety and equipment quiz tomorrow before midnight.
The schedules "move" to meet start dates of the students, which is why my "test student" above has their first due date on May 19th. That was the day I set the course up. I hope this makes sense, please call or email with questions.
