Summary

the titaic was the biggest ship in 1912. This ship was launched in 10 april of 1912. The Titanic was 882 feet long. IN its first sail it launched in southampton and went to New York city but one part of the jurney it crashed into a iceberg. this ship carried 2,224 passengers and crew. From all of them more than 1,500 died in the accident. The titanic had many things to do like a pool, a gym and admire the great sea.

Captain Edward Smith

Edward John Smith was an english naval reserve officer who served as commanding officer of numerous White Star LIne vessels. He was very well known as the captain of RMS Tianic and died when the ship sank in 1912. There is a statue of him in Beacon Park. He was born on 27 january 1850 on well street , Hanley Staffordshire. Edward joined White star Line in March 1880 as the Fourth Officer of SS Celtic. He served aboard the companys liners to Australia.


John George Phillips

John was a British wirless telegraphist aboard the RMS Titanic. He died after the titanic crashed into an iceberg. he was born in Francombe Surrey England. In march of 1912 philips was sent to work aboard the Titanic. He was the one that told the captain that the iceberg was up ahead.
