Halloween at Concord Magnet
We will celebrate Halloween on Monday, October 31. Because there is a 2-hour Early Dismissal on Halloween, we will have our traditional parade first thing in the morning. This will give parents the opportunity to attend.
Here are the details:
- Students should come to school dressed in their costumes.
- If they cannot wear their costumes to school, we will give them time to dress upon arrival.
- Please keep in mind that costumes must be appropriate for school, no weapons, blood, or inflatables; and children must be able to sit comfortably at their desks and use the bathroom without assistance.
- After morning announcements and attendance, classrooms will be invited to meet outside on the field.
- Markers will be placed on the field so classes will know where to stand.
- Classes will parade around the field and then return to their classrooms.
- In the event of rain, we will move our parade indoors.
- Our Halloween activities will conclude once the students are back in their classrooms.
- All children are encouraged to attend school on Halloween. Accommodations will be made during the parade for all students who do not celebrate.
Picture Retake Day!
Picture Retake Day is Wednesday, November 2, 2022. If you would like to have your child's picture retaken, please remove the class picture from the photo packet and return the rest of the packet to school by November 2.
