What we did today
October 9th, 2014
What we learned today...
We learned what division would look like without our long division DMSBR. Breaking down numbers into base tens and seeing what the long division process is actually doing for us. I don't think they will complain about using the method again, considering what the alternative is!

Student Memoir Showcase...
Big Win
CRACK! off the bat. I was running as fast as I could! I was rounding first as I looked for where I was rounding. As soon as I saw coach I was so excited he was yelling, “Come on!”
I was rounding second I kept going. He’s waving his arms. My adrenalin was pumping, I rounded third. I’m thinking,Go Big Or Go Home!!My coach is not the biggest fan of that motto. I’m stealing home, only three steps away!
“Get down, get down!” the crowd was screaming from the stands.
“Safe!” the umpire yelled.
All we had to do was go out on the field and get three out’s. After we scored four runs they got three outs and we went to play defense. The hitter on their team they hit it two second base where I was, OUT!! One down two to go , the next hitter struck out, two down one to go. The best hitter on their team was up.The perfect pitch piped on the inside corner, it was a homerun. We had two outs. Our pitcher was throwing her heart out, strike one, strike two, the next pitch was a changeup. STRIKE three We won Nationals! As our parents came out on the field Coach Mark was so excited for us.We were so excited. We lined up for trophies. The second place team went first. They got their medals. Then we got our trophies, then we had a team meeting. It was our last tournament of the year we laughed we cried but overall we were so happy.Thats the time my team won Northern Nationals.
