The ASOT Reflection
Region 9 High Reliability Schools-November 2017
Session Recap for Groups 1, 2, 3 and 4
Element 17: Examining Similarities and Differences
Why Compare and Contrast?
Take a look at section 1 of Compare and Contrast: Teaching Comparative Thinking to Strengthen Student Learning by Harvey Silver. Here you will find 5 distinct goals of using similarities and differences, as well as some examples of what this might look like.
Let's get those goals!
An easy way to do this is to fill out the Reflection Guide in Google Classroom (or the shared folder if you are at a campus that can't access Classroom) and turn it in. No, it's not for a grade! However, it does allow us to see your goals and offer our input. Don't worry. We'll return it so that you can continue using the guide.
Be sure to register for your next session! Don't forget that you will have to enter the session number in the white box that says "Search by Session # or Keyword."
