A Message from Dr. Hicks
Hello Cougars,
It was great to see everyone back in class today with smiling faces ready for a full day of learning. The joy was evident in the halls as students were humming with excitement about being back in school. One student shouted as he finished breakfast, “I am so happy to be back!” and ran from the cafeteria to his class. That moment was priceless and a great way to start the day!! Thank you to all our families for your support and understanding these last few days.
The safety of our staff and students remains a top priority. I’m incredibly proud of our staff who continually go above and beyond to support our students and help one another. The Cougar spirit is alive in Jarrell ISD because of the tireless effort seen everyday to provide the very best for our students. While we were closed our staff continued to work hard to provide a safe learning environment for the return of our students and one another. This is the heart of Jarrell ISD - Success For All.
In furthering our vision, I'm excited to announce three Instructional Aides have finished their certifications and are now full-time teachers at Jarrell ISD. Please join me in congratulating Amber Kepler - CTE Teacher at Jarrell High School, Samantha Kepler - teacher of our Rise Academy Program, and Bethany Issak - Pre-k teacher at Jarrell Elementary School.
Thank you for your support of our students and schools. Our hardworking teaching staff, dedicated students, and supportive community make me proud to be part of Cougar Nation.
Cougar proud,
Dr. Toni Hicks
