Computer Maintenance Pathway In Action

One of the many options for students at Lancaster High School seeking a career path in technology is the Computer Maintenance class. It is a part of the Information Systems and Software Design Pipeline that provides an endorsement via Business Industry. The computer maintenance course introduces students to components with hands on experience. Students learn to analyze, distinguish and troubleshoot important components such as the CPU, Hard Drive, RAM, Optical Drives, Motherboard, Operating Systems and Power Supplies. Students are also introduced to security and networking standards to help them make the best choices concerning their future careers. Mr. Paul Ruiz de Velasco has the privilege of working with our high school students in the Computer Maintenance class.
