This Weeks Focus
This week we will be reading A Color of His Own during mentor sentences and discussing adjectives.
In math, students will identify U.S. coins, including pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters, by value and describe the relationships among them.
In science, we will analyze and record examples of interdependence found in various situations such as terrariums and aquariums or pet and caregiver
Please make sure you child dresses appropriately for the weather. We will continue to have outdoor recess unless the wind chill is below 32 degrees.
Don't forget students can work on Lexia at home. Students can login to Lexia through Clever. Contact your child's teacher if you need student's Clever login information.
-Please make sure students are bringing headphones to school each day!
-Please make sure you put your child's name on his/her jackets, hoodies, and water bottles
-Please remind students not to bring toys to school
-We love celebrating birthdays in class but please make sure student is only bring cupcakes/treat. No goody bags please!

First grade will be going on a field trip to Sunset Hill Farm on March 31st! Permission slips and money are due February 25.
