Hello Gator Family!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Last week our 6th & 7th Graders finished up their STAAR testing. 8th Graders are back to testing this week along with a few make ups tests. Please make sure your students get a good night's sleep, arrive on time and try their very best! Please see the Important Tutorial/STAAR Information below. The 8th Grade Dance was a huge success on Saturday and the students had a blast!

Important Tutorial Information:
Tutorials have been offered all year in morning and the afternoon on their assigned days. We started after school STAAR tutorials that were reserved for students who received a STAAR letter from their teacher. It is extremely important that your child attend the required STAAR tutorials if they were invited. Bus transportation is available for the students attending after school tutorials as usual.
Students needing support with current material, or needing to make-up assignments, should attend morning tutorials. It is extremely important that students continue to work hard through the end of the year. We are here to ensure their success.
Please be sure to read the STAAR newsletter that I sent out on 4/1. STAAR will be on-line this year and student practice is necessary for their success. Students not passing their STAAR test will be required to complete 30 hours of instruction for every subject they do not pass. This is a significant amount of time and students could possibly lose their elective. It is essential that students understand the importance of preparing for STAAR.
