A Message from the Principal
Lauren Meeks
April 18, 2019
Dear Parents,
As we begin to think about the 2019-2020 school year, we would like to gather some information from you regarding your student and his/her learning styles. We kindly ask that you fill out the Parent Input Form as this information helps us to place students in classes. This form is NOT intended to be used as an avenue for teacher requests. We will utilize all the information you provide us, as well as current teacher input, to best place students for the next school year. You can find the link here.
In order for your input to be considered, please submit this form by Friday, May 3rd.
Thank you for your input and for partnering with us!
Just a friendly reminder that we will not have school Friday, April 19th and Monday, April 22nd. Enjoy a nice little break!
Kinder registration is this Wednesday, April 23rd from 7:30am-6:30pm. Please note, you may register your incoming kindergarten student at ANY LISD elementary school. It's sure to be a fun day to Sign with Parkside!
Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 4th from 9am-12pm to help with the garden clean up! The Parkside Garden Clean Up would LOVE to have your help planting and working in the sensory garden. Don't forget your gloves!
Have a great weekend!
Lauren, Maggie, and Marianne
Field Day Shirts
Forgot to order your Field Day Shirt? No worries, we have a few extras that will be sold on a first come first serve basis. We have a very limited amount, about 50 shirts, in pink and blue. All shirts are $10 each and can be purchased with cash or check. Students can come by the gym anytime to purchase a shirt. Thanks for supporting the PE program.
Yearbook Time!
The yearbooks are now on sale. Yearbooks will only be sold online. Click the link below and order your yearbook for $15 through May 15th. The only way to guarantee you will get a yearbook is to pre-order. If there are any books left over, they will be sold at school for $20 after all pre-ordered books are passed out. Don't miss out on all of the memories from this year!

We finished the Kindness Rocks project! You can see our rocks in the garden...they look amazing! Our kids did such a great job and put so much thought and effort into creating the perfect rock to represent "Kindness"! Way to go Mustangs!
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped to make this happen...you are all so appreciated!
