Join us in celebrating our 5th Grade class as they walk the halls as a Bell Prairie student for the last time on Friday, May 26th. Please park on the playground and check in through the library doors from 11:00-11:20.

Kindergarten through Fourth Grade classes will begin to line the hallways at 11:20. We will “release” parents to fill the hallways at 11:20. Parents will be able to pick up siblings prior to the walk from 11:30-11:40. 5th grade students will go back to their classrooms and be dismissed from class once the walk concludes.

For all parents planning to attend, if you are not currently checked into our Raptor security system, please come up to the school and do that prior to the last day of school.

The NKC summer school enrollment window is closes on Friday. Current Kindergarten - 4th grade students will attend summer school at Bell Prairie, along with Rising Hill students. Current 5th graders will attend summer school at Gateway 6th Grade Center. To enroll your child in summer school, parents will need to log-in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Summer School enrollment will close on Friday, May 19th.

Summer school informational letters that include your child's summer school teacher will be sent out soon.

Bell Prairie Summer School Information

Hours: 8:45-2:45

Dates (Monday-Thursday, with the exception of week 3*)

Week 1: June 5-8

Week 2: June 12-15

Week 3: June 20-23*

Week 4: June 26-29

*Monday, June 19th is a district holiday, therefore, Friday, June 23rd will be a virtual summer school day for students and teachers.

Gateway Summer School Information

Same dates as above but their hours will be: 8:05-2:05

All students will be turning in their iPads and chargers on Wednesday, May 24th. If an item is damaged or missing, a charge will be put on your child's account. Students will not be issued a new device until the charge is paid.

Students attending summer school will be given their device back during the first week of summer school after it is inventoried and checked by technology.

The shade structure and concrete slab are complete! It was the prefect location to house our DJ and dance floor at the Hoedown this month. Phase 2 for the 23-24 school year will hopefully include purchasing large outdoor tables for students to use both during recess and as a class.

Thank you to all our parents and our PTA for making playground improvements happen. We were able to install a 20 x 30 large shade structure with a concrete slab on our back playground.

The PTA is offering an easy way for you to order your school supplies for next school year in a one-stop-shop. For the families that would like to pre-order school supplies, you can do so now until June 18th by following this link. Your child/children's school supplies will then be delivered in one package to your child's classroom on Back to School Night.

Should you prefer to go to the store and purchase everything yourself, you you will find the school supply list with all of the items for each grade listed below.
