As we go into Thanksgiving week I find myself reflecting on the first 12 weeks of the school year and being thankful for so many things. Thank you for sharing your children with us. Daily we get to share in watching them grow, learn, discover, and change. Please know that we take this very seriously and know that you are entrusting your most precious asset(s) to us. I am thankful for the wonderful and dedicated staff that I have the opportunity to work with everyday. Each and every one of them is a valued member of our learning community and helps create our great learning environment. I am thankful for my family, who daily support both me and my work. I hope all of you find time to be with family and friends and to let them know how important they are to you. We truly do have much to be thankful for!

Toy & Sock Drive:

Would you like to give back to your community this year? We need your help! Donate any of the items listed below between Monday, November 22nd to Wednesday, December 8th. Donations can be dropped off in the BPMS Front Office during school hours.

Items Needed:

• New socks of any size

• Toys for students age newborn-15

• Cash/Gift card donations

Items will be donated to Kiwanis and Bloomin' Boutique to be distributed to Canby families. Thank you for helping us spread holiday cheer to the Canby Community!

We have processes in place to help us track students in the event of illness or an early departure from school. If a student is sick during class, they should let their teacher know and then go to the main office. Our staff will take them to the health room and check them out and contact the family for pick up if needed. If a student needs to be excused for an appointment or any other reason, please notify our main office at 503.263.7170 as soon as possible. When you arrive at the school please call and we will call your student down. This allows the student to not miss instruction while waiting in the office.
